Anantnag Police on Saturday said that it has facilitated the demolition of an illegally constructed commercial complex comprising 15 shops at Waghama, Bijbehara.
In a statement issued here on Saturday Police said that the property, worth around ₹1 Cr, belonged to notorious drug peddler Sajad Ahmad Rather and was found built on state land. The action forms part of efforts to dismantle illegally acquired assets linked to narcotics trade.
