Srinagar : Under the ongoing anti-drug campaign, police across multiple districts including Handwara, Awantipora, Shopian, Sopore, Budgam, and Ganderbal intensified awareness drives and enforcement actions.
Activities included school awareness programmes, medical shop inspections, destruction of wild cannabis, naka checks, and community meetings. The campaign aims to eliminate drug abuse through a combination of enforcement and public awareness.
