Shopian : Police in Shopian on April 23 deployed trained narcotic dog squads at key checkpoints to strengthen anti-drug operations.
Officials said the canine units are being used to detect concealed narcotics and assist in identifying traffickers. Intensified vehicle checking and naka operations are also underway across the district. They said the move aims to disrupt drug supply networks and enhance enforcement efficiency.
