Srinagar/Jammu :Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary and ministers—Javid Ahmad Dar, Satish Sharma, Javed Ahmed Rana and Sakina Itoo—have extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qadr (Lailat-ul-Qadr).
In his message, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary said that the holy night of Shab-e-Qadr holds immense religious and spiritual significance and is a time for devotion, reflection and prayers. He said that on this sacred occasion people seek divine blessings and pray for peace, prosperity and well-being of all, expressing hope that the occasion will further strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and communal harmony in the region.
Minister Javid Ahmad Dar said that Shab-e-Qadr, described in the Holy Quran as “better than a thousand months,” is a night of immense blessings and reflection that offers believers an opportunity to seek forgiveness, divine mercy and spiritual renewal. He urged people to pray for peace, prosperity and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir.
Satish Sharma, in his message, said that the sacred night marks the revelation of the Holy Qur’an to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and provides believers an opportunity to seek Almighty Allah’s mercy and forgiveness while reaffirming their commitment to the values of compassion, unity and service to humanity.
Minister Javed Ahmed Rana said that Shab-e-Qadr, the most sacred night of the holy month of Ramadan, offers believers an opportunity to seek the mercy and blessings of Almighty Allah through prayers, reflection and acts of charity. He urged people to pray for lasting peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the nation.
Minister Sakina Itoo also extended her greetings, urging people to observe the blessed night with devotion and pray for peace, harmony and prosperity. She appealed to people to remember the underprivileged and extend help to those in need so that the true spirit of Ramadan reaches every household.
