BJP stands firm for united J&K, inclusive development and a developed India under PM Modi: Tarun Chugh

Jammu : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, organized an intensive training workshop for BJP MLAs at Jagat Resorts, Shakti Nagar, Jammu. The workshop was conducted over multiple structured sessions aimed at enhancing legislative competence, ideological clarity, and organizational coordination among the elected representatives. The workshop was among others attended by top leaders including Tarun Chugh, Sat Sharma, former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Jairam Thakur and all party MLAs. Tarun Chugh emphasized the importance of such workshops for ideologically and organizationally strengthening party representatives, aligning them with the BJP’s vision of a developed India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He reiterated the party’s commitment to a united Jammu & Kashmir and equitable development for all citizens, condemning divisive politics from rival parties. Sat Sharma highlighted the strategic role of these workshops in enhancing the political and governance skills of MLAs, ensuring they remain connected to party ideology and serve effectively as links between the government and the public. He acknowledged the ideological legacy of nationalists that the BJP represents. Jairam Thakur shared insights from his experience, advocating for constituency-focused development and the need for MLAs to act as solution-oriented leaders while upholding democratic values. Vijender Gupta provided guidance on legislative procedures, stressing the importance of preparation for effective participation in Assembly discussions. Sunil Sharma concluded the workshop by emphasizing the need for a coordinated approach among BJP MLAs to address public issues and uphold constitutional values. Ashok Koul discussed organizational coordination and the significance of grassroots outreach, while Deputy Leaders of the Opposition Surjit Singh Salathia and Pawan Gupta addressed the socio-political landscape and the responsibilities of MLAs, respectively, underscoring the need for informed political engagement and constructive opposition.
