Ganderbal : Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir) has announced Ph.D. Admission for the Phase-II (session 2025-26) for candidates with fellowships/scholarships for the January 2026 intake.
Candidates with valid fellowships from UGC, CSIR, ICMR, ICAR, GATE, DBT, DST-INSPIRE, or other applicable scholarships are eligible to apply for Ph.D. admissions in 20 departments at the Central University of Kashmir. These departments include fields such as Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, and more. Additionally, candidates involved in sponsored projects funded by national or state agencies at the university can also apply, provided they qualify for the NET or an equivalent examination within a specified timeframe if selected for provisional admission. Failure to meet these conditions may lead to the cancellation of admissions. The registration process for Ph.D. admissions commenced on January 8, 2026, and will close on January 22, 2026, at 11:55 PM. Applicants must carefully review the eligibility criteria before applying, as the university will not be liable for any errors made during the registration process.
