Srinagar : Chairperson, J&K Waqf Board, Syed Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, (Minister of State) on Monday visited Aasar-e-Shareef Kabamarg, Anantnag and paid obeisance at the famous shine. Dr Andrabi participated in a very significant inauguration event. She was accompanied by the Waqf Board officers and engineers in presence of the local people.
Dr. Darakhshan inaugurated the newly constructed Administrative Block and the Ornamental Aluminum Composite Panel Dome at the Ziyarat, along with the upgraded facilities for the Grand Masjid. During her address, the Waqf Chairperson emphasized the commitment to the continuous development of the shrine and all other shrines managed by the Board across Jammu and Kashmir. Following the inauguration, Dr. Andrabi visited the shrine of Syed Ahmad Kirmani (RA) in Movera, Pahalgam, where she prayed for the welfare and peace of all. In her media remarks, Dr. Andrabi highlighted the importance of dedicated service and a clear vision in achieving desired outcomes. She noted that innovative and sustainable technologies are being employed in their projects, ensuring quality infrastructural development that adheres to a strict timeline across both divisions of J&K. Transparency and accountability are fundamental principles guiding their infrastructure initiatives.
