Srinagar : SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal on Monday convened a security review meeting to assess and enhance the security situation in the district.
The meeting, held at the Conference Hall of DPO Ganderbal, including senior police officers, Army representatives, and CAPF personnel, including SHOs and DOs. Key discussions focused on the current security landscape, strategies for deployment, coordination among agencies, and preparedness for maintaining law and order. SSP Poswal highlighted the importance of collaboration among security forces, timely sharing of intelligence, and increased area presence to foster peace and stability. He directed officers to remain vigilant, improve patrolling and checkpoint operations, and adopt a community-oriented policing strategy to build public trust and cooperation. SSP Poswal commended the officers for their efforts in sustaining peace and asked them to continue their dedicated and professional work in addressing emerging security challenges.
