Srinagar : Police in Pulwama organized an Awareness-cum-Exhibition at the local police station aimed at promoting unity, civic responsibility, and enhancing police-public relations.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of Solace International School, who explored various aspects of police operations, including the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS), reporting procedures, and lockup facilities. An interactive session allowed students to assume the role of Station House Officer (SHO) and engage with senior police officials, including SSP Pulwama Tanushree and DySP Headquarters, who emphasized the significance of discipline, public cooperation, and national unity. In a parallel initiative, the police in Anantnag conducted Padyatra events in Pahalgam and Dooru, which saw active participation from police officers, local youth, students, and civil society members.
