Srinagar : Police on Monday said that it has arrested two individuals for their involvement in gambling activities in the Tangmarg area.
According to a police statement issued here on Monday a police team from Police Station Tangmarg conducted raids at Shrai Nallah, near Government School, where two gamblers found indulging in gambling. The accused have been identified as Mudasir Ahmad Malla S/o Ayaz Ahmad Malla R/o Kunzer, Ward No. 6 and Zahoor Ahmad Reshi S/o Gh. Mohd Reshi R/o Pariswani, Kunzer.
During search, authorities recovered 52 playing cards and ₹4,200 in cash, and a case FIR No. 78/2025 under Section 13 of the Gambling Act was registered at Police Station Tangmarg. The investigation is underway .
