Srinagar : Police on Monday said that it has recovered contraband substance from a residential house in Zainapora area and arrested the accused on spot.
According to a police statement issued here on Monday Police Station Zainapora while acting on specific intelligence inputs registered a case under FIR No. 98/2025. They obtained a search warrant from the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate 1st Class Shopian to conduct a raid. Accompanied by the Executive Magistrate 1st Class police team searched the residence of Ainaul Ul Huda Dar, a resident of Darbagh. During the operation, they seized 1.164 kilograms of a substance resembling charas. The accused has been arrested, and further investigations are currently ongoing. In its statement police reiterated its commitment to eradicate the menace of drugs from society and appealed people to extend cooperation.
