Jammu | : Cluster University of Jammu on Tuesday entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rapture Biotech Jammu under the Sarv Shakti Innovation and Technology initiative.
The partnership aims to enhance academic collaboration, advance research, and promote skill development in life sciences and biotechnology. The MoU outlines the provision of structured internship programs, hands-on training, and placement opportunities for undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. students at the university. Additionally, the collaboration seeks to facilitate technical skill exchange through workshops, guest lectures, and specialized training sessions, thereby bridging the gap between academia and industry. Rapture Biotech will provide discounted workshops, seminars, and research opportunities for both students and faculty members. The agreement also includes career counseling, startup incubation support, and guidance for aspiring innovators in the biotechnology sector. The formal signing of the MoU was conducted by Ankur Mahajan, Registrar of Cluster University of Jammu, and Ambika Slathia, Director of Rapture Biotech Jammu, with notable attendees including Prof. D.S. Manhas, Dean of Students Welfare, and Dr. Meenakshi Bandral, Director of IQAC.
