Awantipora | : The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) on Friday held its 6th Board of Research Studies (BoRS) meeting for the School of Humanities & Social Sciences, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Shakil A. Romshoo. The meeting was attended by a diverse group of internal members and distinguished external experts from various universities, emphasizing a collaborative approach to academic and research priorities.
The key discussions focused on research synopses, course curricula, re-registrations, and extensions across multiple departments, including Journalism & Mass Communication, International Relations, English, Islamic Studies, Arabic, and Philosophy. Prof. Romshoo underscored the importance of high-quality research in tackling societal challenges and enhancing knowledge traditions, reinforcing IUST’s dedication to promoting rigorous scholarship and innovation.
