Srinagar | : As part of the ongoing fortnight-long Sewa Parv campaign, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo Friday initiated construction work on Public Toilet Facility complex at DC office Complex.
The new facility is being constructed to enhance public sanitation and civic amenities within the complex to promote cleanliness, hygiene and public welfare.
The public convenience includes separate washrooms for male, female and persons with special abilities.
Speaking on the occasion, DC reaffirmed the district administration’s commitment to ensuring improved cleanliness, hygiene, and accessibility for both office employees and visiting citizens and said that this was initiated Friday under the Sanitation & Hygiene vertical of the ongoing Sewa Parv 2025.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Rifat Aftab Qureshi; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Aadil Fareed; Chief Planning Officer, Fayaz Ahmad Dar; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Executive Engineer R&B, citizens, stamp vendors and other associated persons were present on the occasion.
