Srinagar: The annual intra-college technology festival, TechFusion 2025, successfully concluded at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar, organized by the Technology Club.
The event, coordinated by Dr. Iqra Altaf Geelani, received support from key figures including Director Prof. Binod Kumar Kanaujia, Registrar Prof. Atikur Rehman, and Dean of Students’ Welfare Prof. Mohammad Abid Bazaz. Over two days, the festival featured a variety of competitions aimed at assessing both technical knowledge and practical skills. The first day included events such as PromptCraft 2025, WHO AM I?, a Typing Contest, and Photopedia. The second day focused on technical and robotics competitions, including Guess the Programming Language?, CAD-a-thon, and several drone-related challenges. High-profile contests like the 5-Hour Forge Hackathon and Robo War attracted significant participation. Prof. Binod Kumar Kanaujia emphasized that TechFusion 2025 allowed students to apply their classroom knowledge in real-world scenarios, preparing them for future technological challenges. Prof. Mohammad Abid Bazaz highlighted that such festivals not only enhance technical skills but also promote leadership, teamwork, and innovation, which are essential for comprehensive development. Registrar Prof. Atikur Rehman noted that events like TechFusion reflect NIT Srinagar’s dedication to fostering creativity and problem-solving abilities among students, aiming to equip them for national and global competition.
