Rajouri : On the eve of Engineers’ Day, Abhishek Sharma, IAS, Registrar of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), delivered an inspiring lecture to the students of the Department of Civil Engineering on “Advancements in Foundation Engineering.”
In his address, the Registrar highlighted the latest developments in foundation engineering and encouraged the students to think innovatively in tackling real-life challenges, particularly those arising from soil erosion, Floods and Climate change. He motivated the young engineers to focus on sustainable and practical solutions that can contribute to resilient infrastructure and societal development.
The lecture was followed by an interactive session in which students engaged with the Registrar and received valuable insights on bridging classroom learning with practical applications.
