Rajouri : Abhishek Sharma, IAS, the Registrar of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) on Tuesday visited the Department of Computer Sciences to engage with students.
During the interaction Sharma emphasized the necessity for students to embrace emerging technologies and innovative skills to navigate the challenges of the digital landscape. He highlighted the significance of critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and practical experience as essential components for building successful careers in Computer Science and related fields. The Registrar encouraged students to seek technological solutions to local problems and to develop innovative ideas that could positively influence society. He pointed out that the field of Computer Science is rich with opportunities for creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship, urging students to apply their knowledge to tackle real-world challenges. Furthermore, he assured students of the University administration’s support in enhancing academic, research, and innovation initiatives within the department.
