Police organizes medical awareness camp on drug abuse in Kulgam

Srinagar : J&K Police on Friday conducted a medical awareness camp focused on drug abuse at the Community Health Centre DH Pora Kulgam.
The initiative aimed to combat substance abuse and enhance community awareness regarding this pressing issue. The event saw active involvement from medical professionals, police personnel, and local residents, fostering a collaborative environment. Experts in the medical field provided critical insights into the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for drug addiction, emphasizing the importance of early intervention and robust community support. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) DAR Kulgam, along with healthcare professionals, discussed preventive strategies against drug abuse.
