Anantnag : “Under Mera Resham Mera Abhimaan(MRMA), on 26.08.2025 Central Silk Board-CSR&TI, Pampore in collaboration with Sericulture Development Department, J&K organized a training programme on “Rearing house disinfection and hygiene” at Brisnoo, Kuthar, Anantnag (J&K).
Participatory skill oriented deliberations centred over loopholes in room/bed disinfection and hygiene maintenance for qualitative and quantitative improvement in cocoon production and productivity. Training programme even during heavy and continuous rainfall witnessed the participation of 55 enthusiastic silkworm rearers, 7 beat watchers, Sericulture Assistant, Kuthar Zone, Ruby and recently State topper in Silkworm Seed examiner exam, Dr Ovais Hajam.
