New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday expressed his satisfaction with the significant participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, highlighting it as a reflection of India’s patriotic spirit and pride in the national flag.
The Prime Minister appealed people to continue sharing their photos and selfies on the campaign’s dedicated website, harghartiranga.com. The Ministry of Culture echoed this sentiment, celebrating the enthusiasm for the campaign across the country, from Kashmir to Lakshadweep and Gujarat to Sikkim, showcasing the strong connection Indians have with the Tricolour. In the lead-up to Independence Day, students in Udhampur engaged in making national flags for the campaign, expressing their pride and joy in participating. The initiative, running from August 2 to August 15, encourages citizens to hoist the Tricolour at their homes. This year, the campaign also emphasizes a commitment to cleanliness, promoting the message that “Cleanliness is Service” alongside the celebration of the national flag.
