Jammu | : Chairperson Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board and Minister of State, Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, today paid respects at the shrine of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah (RA) located in Shahdara Sharif, Rajouri.
Dr Andrabi took part in various events, chaired an official meeting, assessed the ongoing construction projects, and engaged with numerous public delegations within the Ziyarat Complex. In a statement released here, Dr. Darakhshan underscored the importance of completing the work within the designated timeframe. The Waqf Chairperson directed the Board’s staff to enhance public services as necessary at this shrine. Local delegations expressed their appreciation for Dr. Andrabi’s efforts to improve the infrastructure and amenities for visitors at this renowned Sufi shrine in the Pirpanjal valley. The Waqf Chairperson was joined by Executive Officer Abdul Qayoom Mir along with other officers and staff from the Board. Subsequently, Dr. Darakhshan inspected the ongoing construction of three mosques in Rajouri and evaluated the progress and quality of the work. During this visit, Andrabi also met with several public delegations.
