1. Aug 2 | LG Attends ‘Chinar Book Festival’ In Srinagar: The Lieutenant Governor attended the ‘Chinar Book Festival’ organised by the National Book Trust of India. The annual event aims to foster a culture of reading and offers readers the opportunity to engage with new ideas and interact with leading authors and scholars from across the country.
2. Aug 1 | J&K CM Inaugurates TTF Ahmedabad, Highlights Year-Round Tourism Potential: The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir inaugurated the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) in Ahmedabad, emphasizing the Union Territory’s year-round tourism appeal. The CM invited travellers to explore J&K’s unique culture, scenic landscapes, and rich heritage.
3. Aug 1 | LG Discusses Counter-Terrorism Strategy At Army War College, Mhow: The Lieutenant Governor interacted with officers attending the Higher Command Course–54 at the Army War College, Mhow. The discussion focused on contemporary geo-political and geo-strategic issues, with emphasis on a whole-of-government approach to dismantle the terror ecosystem.
4. July 31 | CM Visits Sabarmati Ashram, Pays Tribute To Mahatma Gandhi: The Chief Minister visited the historic Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad and paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi, recalling his ideals of peace, truth, and non-violence.
5. July 31 | LG Attends Kashmir Super League Qualifier Match At TRC Srinagar: The Lieutenant Governor attended the Qualifier 2 match of the Kashmir Super League 2025 at TRC Ground in Srinagar. He lauded the efforts of the J&K Sports Council and sponsors, noting the growing enthusiasm for sports in the region.
6. July 30 | CM Launches J&K Roadshow In Gujarat, Meets Business Community: The Chief Minister inaugurated a roadshow and interactive session with Gujarat’s travel community to promote tourism in Jammu and Kashmir. He also met with business leaders, assuring a conducive and investor-friendly environment in the Union Territory.
7. July 29 | LG Briefed On Operation Mahadev, Praises Forces For Success: Top Army commanders briefed the Lieutenant Governor on Operation Mahadev, which led to the elimination of three Pakistani militants involved in the Pahalgam terror attack. He praised the Army, CRPF, and J&K Police for their coordinated efforts.
8. July 29 | LG Attends ‘Kashur Riwaaj’, Youth Create World Record In Baramulla: The Lieutenant Governor attended ‘Kashur Riwaaj’, a cultural event in Baramulla jointly organised by the Indian Army and local administration. Over 20,000 youth participated, setting a new world record in Ladishah and Calligraphy performances.
9. July 28 | CM Flags Off Mobile Medical Units For Tribal Areas: The Chief Minister, accompanied by senior officials, flagged off new Mobile Medical Units under the Tribal Affairs Department. The initiative aims to improve healthcare access in remote tribal areas across Jammu and Kashmir.
