Srinagar | : The Rajbhasha Cell of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar on Wednesday organized a workshop focused on the Annual Programme 2025–2026 from the Department of Official Language, addressing challenges and solutions for implementing official language policies.
The workshop aimed to promote the effective use of Hindi in official work and was primarily attended by the institute’s ministerial staff. Prakash Chandra Mishra, Hindi Officer at MNNIT Allahabad, served as the main resource person, discussing key aspects of the Annual Programme and practical solutions for integrating Hindi into central government institutions. Director of NIT Srinagar, Prof. Binod Kumar Kanaujia, commended the Rajbhasha Cell for their efforts and assured continued administrative support for such initiatives. Registrar Prof. Atikur Rehman emphasized the importance of Rajbhasha in fostering efficient communication and inclusivity, encouraging staff participation in Hindi-related programs. Incharge Hindi Officer Dr. R.P. Shukla highlighted the significant progress made in promoting Hindi on campus and expressed gratitude to the administration for their support. The workshop included an interactive Q&A session where participants raised practical questions regarding the use of Hindi in official documentation. The resource person addressed these concerns, providing valuable resources and techniques to enhance confidence in using Hindi. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Sabzar Gani, the workshop coordinator, acknowledging the contributions of all involved.
