Congress leaders Kajal Rajput, Sunita Sharma, others from Bani-Basohli Region join BJP
Srinagar : Former Congress Secretary and MLA candidate Kajal Rajput has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu, along with several senior Congress leaders and supporters. The induction took place at the BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, in the presence of top party leadership.
BJP National General Secretary and Prabhari J&K BJP Tarun Chugh welcomed new BJP members, emphasizing the party’s core principle of “Nation First, Party Second, and Self Last.” He praised BJP’s contributions to national unity, integrity, and development, highlighting the sacrifices of workers during the Emergency and the challenging political environment in Jammu and Kashmir.
The party’s core principle of “Nation First, Party Second, and Self Last” was emphasized, and the new members were encouraged to actively work towards fulfilling the party’s mission. BJP State President Sat Sharma welcomed the new members, highlighting the party’s commitment to national unity and integrity. The party’s new activists, especially those from other parties, added renewed energy to the mission of building a stronger society. Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal praised the growing trust of the people in the BJP’s vision and leadership, while Adv. Vibodh Gupta praised the BJP’s dynamic leadership and its ability to become the true voice of the people, especially in remote areas like Bani and Basohli. District President Gopal Krishan praised the BJP’s increasing influence in the region.
