28 police personnel receive in-situ promotions in G’bal: Police

Srinagar : Police on Monday said that 28 police personnel from district Ganderbal on Monday have been granted in-situ promotions to a higher standard pay scale. The promotions were formally approved by the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) and subsequently ordered by SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal.
The beneficiaries of this career milestone include 11 Constables and 17 Followers who have rendered 09 years of commendable and uninterrupted service in the same rank, without prior promotional movement.
On the occasion, SSP Ganderbal extended heartfelt congratulations to the promoted personnel. He felicitated them personally, acknowledging their sustained commitment and contribution to the force. On this occassion SSP Ganderbal expressed confidence that the promoted officials will serve the community with enhanced motivation, upholding the values of public service, peace, and order.
