ADC Handwara Reviews Arrangements for Mela Kheer Bhawani

Kupwara: A meeting of concerned officers to review the arrangements for celebration of annual Mela Kheer Bhawani at Mata Bhadrakali was on Thursday held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Javed Naseem Masoodi.
A threadbare discussion was held on availability of power & water supply, health care facilities, security and sanitation, essential commodities and other arrangements to ensure smooth stay of devotees at Mata Bhadrakali.
ADC directed the concerned departments for making necessary arrangements for uninterrupted power and drinking water supplies, security, ration, medical facilities, sanitation in and around the temple and other arrangements.
Municipal Committee Handwara was directed to ensure proper sanitation within the premises as well as approaching road stretch of the temple at Baderkali. Besides, the R & B department was asked to make necessary patch work of potholes.
Administration is ensuring top notch arrangements for smooth facilitation to devotees during the mela.
