Kulgam : In a powerful expression of solidarity and condemnation, residents of Kulgam gathered this evening for a peaceful candlelight protest against the recent militant attack on tourists in Pahalgam.
People from all walks of life including civil society members, traders and youth came together in Kulgam, Qaimoo, Yaripora, D.HPora, Kund, Mohmadpora Areh, Pahloo Devsar and all other areas holding candles and placards to denounce the cowardly act of violence that claimed innocent lives and injured several others.
The protestors called for peace, unity, and strict action against those responsible for destabilizing the harmony in the valley.
They expressed grief over the loss of life and emphasized the importance of safeguarding the Valley’s long-standing tradition of hospitality and brotherhood.
