Srinagar: Ten people were injured in two separate road accidents along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday.
An official said that a Tata Mobile vehicle skidded off the road near Mir Bazar in the morning, injuring five people.
All the injured, residents of Bakerwal Check Manzmoh, were shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for treatment.
In another incident at Levdoora Flyover, five passengers were injured in a head-on collision between two vehicles. The accident occurred due to high speed, officials said.
Police, including SDPO and SHO Qazigund, reached the spot and evacuated the injured to a nearby hospital. All ten injured people are said to be in stable condition.
