Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik has gone into hiding to lead march to the UN office in Srinagar on December 10, a spokesman said today.
He said that police raided the residence of Malik in Maisuma twice since last evening to arrest him.
“Police from last evening has raided various places to arrest JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik who has gone into hiding to lead a peaceful march towards UN observers’ office at Sonwar Srinagar on 10th December, the international human rights day,” he said.
The residence of JKLF vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt at Chanapora was also raided by the police to arrest Malik, said the spokesman.
