DC reviews implementation of HADP credit-linked schemes in Udhampur

Udhampur : Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai convened a meeting with officers from various line departments and representatives of banking institutions here on Tuesday to review the implementation of credit-linked schemes under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme.
The meeting, held at Mini Conference Hall DC Office Complex, focused on assessing the performance matrix, sanctioning and disbursement status of cases under HADP in the district.
The DC directed all concerned departments and banks to ensure maximum outreach, covering every farmer and farming family in the district under these schemes. She instructed officials to prepare an area-wise list of beneficiaries to facilitate targeted implementation.
The DC emphasized the need for block-level credit outreach camps to raise awareness among farmers about beneficiary-oriented schemes. She reiterated that achieving the desired targets in the agricultural sector requires the proactive involvement of banks in providing hassle-free credit facilities to farmers.
She further underscored the necessity of strong coordination between banks and government departments to ensure seamless implementation of schemes benefiting the farming community.
