Srinagar : Provincial Youth National Conference Provincial President and MLA Hazratbal Salman Ali Sagar Tuesday emphasized the party’s dedication to enhancing and expanding the urban healthcare infrastructure in Srinagar. Salman visited Gousia Hospital and UPHC Maharaj Gunj in Khanyar, where he engaged with the administrative heads to discuss measures for improving patient care at these health centers. He inquired about the upgrading of bed capacity, critical diagnostic equipment, and other patient care facilities. Salman instructed the administrative head of Gousia Hospital to expedite the preparation of a detailed project report for a 10-20 crore extension of the healthcare facility to meet the growing demands of patients. He pledged full support to the hospital administration in their efforts to enhance the hospital’s capacity and provide top-notch treatment. Salman anticipates that work on the expansion will commence in the upcoming months.
Salman also visited the UPHC Maharaj Gunj to oversee the ongoing extension work at the health care center, which is being executed at a cost of 2.63 crore. He engaged with the hospital administration, who assured him that the work would be completed as soon as possible. Salman pledged full support to the administration in their efforts to enhance the infrastructure and critical care equipment at the facility.
During his visit, Salman spoke with the patients and emphasized that the Gousia and UPHC Maharaj Gunj hospitals exemplify MLA Ali Muhammad Sagar’s dedication to providing top-notch medical care for the urban population of Srinagar, particularly in the Khanyar constituency. He highlighted that these centers will receive special attention from the MLA to enhance patient care.
Salman also interacted with patients and their attendants, promising to consider their suggestions to improve patient care at these facilities.
