Centre Approves ₹827.98 Crore For Pandach-Manigam 4-Lane Highway: The Union Minister for Road Transport, Nitin Gadkari, sanctioned ₹827.98 crore for a 4-lane highway project between Pandach and Manigam in Jammu & Kashmir. The 12.11 km stretch will include major and minor bridges, realignments, and a 2.55 km elevated structure. This project, part of Phase-IIA of the Srinagar Ring Road, aims to enhance connectivity for both tourists and defense vehicles.
2. Omar Abdullah On ‘One Nation, One Election’ Debate: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah emphasized the need for an open debate on ‘One Nation, One Election.’ He cautioned against the procedure resembling the 2019 handling of Article 370.
