Srinagar : President J&K National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah on Thursday greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Jayanti also known as Guru Purab.
Greeting people especially the Sikh brethren on the auspicious eve, the Party President said Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj stood against the scourge of caste division and religious discrimination and voiced for the oppressed and underprivileged. “I greet people especially our Sikh Brethren on the observance of the birthday of the revered Guru Ji. May the day increase the prospects of peace and brotherhood in J&K and further the cause of camaraderie,” he said.
