Baramulla: Minister for Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (RD&PR), Javed Ahmad Dar, accompanied by MLAs Dr. Sajad Shafi and Javid Hassan Beigh, on Saturday visited the families of Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdhry and Manzoor Ahmad Mir, army porters, who lost their lives in the recent Botapathri attack.
The Minister, during his visit to Uri, paid his respects at the residences of the deceased, offering condolences and assurances of support from the government of Jammu and Kashmir.
Javed Dar strongly condemned the attack, labelling it as a cowardly attempt. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment towards maintaining peace and stability in the region, despite challanges.
This visit of government representatives demonstrated the government’s solidarity with the families of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
The Minister pledged the administration’s resolve to provide necessary assistance to the bereaved families during this difficult time. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
