Srinagar: Farooq Ahmad Shah on Wednesday Inaugurated Panchayat Ghar in Panditpora, Inspects Babul Canal, and held a review meeting with Delegations
Shah inaugurated the Panchayat Ghar at Panditpora Tangmarg, marking a significant step toward enhancing local governance and empowering the community. Meanwhile, during his visit to the Babul Canal, the Gulmarg MLA underscored the critical importance of maintaining water resources. He directed the Irrigation Department to take immediate action to clean the canal and its surroundings, emphasizing the need for effective water management and environmental protection. Following this, a review meeting was convened for the Tangmarg and Chandil Blocks, where MLA Farooq Shah engaged with various delegations to address their concerns. He listened attentively to the issues raised and instructed the concerned departments to prioritize their resolution. Later, Farooq Shah announced that Baderkote Festival will be held on 30th of October 2024. This event is aimed to celebrate the area’s rich cultural heritage and a step towards promoting rural tourism in the constituency, fulfilling a promise made during his campaigning.
