Srinagar: The sacred relic of the revered Sufi saint Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) was prominently displayed at the Dastgeer Sahib Shrine in Khanyar on Tuesday, as part of the annual Urs. This significant event commemorates the death anniversary of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA), a distinguished figure in Islamic history and an iconic Sufi saint from Baghdad, whose teachings of love, peace, tolerance, and spiritual enlightenment have profoundly impacted countless lives.
Devotees from across the region gathered in large numbers to witness the revered holy relic, which is believed to be a hair strand of the saint.
