Srinagar: Maintaining that Art.370 of the Constitution of India and 350-A , which guarantees special status to Jammu and Kashmir state ‘ are un-questionable, the Chairman PDF and MLA Khansaheb, Hakeem Yaseen had said that some political parties are deliberately raising these issues to hide their failures on the ground level.
“In fact these parties are playing a fixed mach on these issues to hoodwink public opinion and hide their failures, “Hakeem Yaseen said on Saturday in a press statement. He said the fact remains that the people of the state have been continuously suffering for want of basic amenities due to miss governance at both administrative as well as political fronts since last six decades,. He said worst ever unscheduled power cuts, acute shortage of drinking water, sky-rocketing prices of essential commodities and corruption at every step have wrecked a havoc with the life of common people. He said under the prevailing ambiguous circumstances at administrative and political horizon of the state , common people have been caught between devil and the deep sea .
“There seems a wide vacuum both at government as well as political levels to address the genuine grievances of the people
whereas the parties at the helm of affairs are busy playing politics on contentious issues , notwithstanding the fact that such tactics have every potential to divide the people of the state on regional and religion basis. He said that the people of the state have been suffering badly since last about six decades due to ever increasing animosity between the two neighbouring countries of India and Pakistan adding that the parties at the helm of affairs and all stake holders to the Kashmir issue should rise above their individual affiliations to seek any amicable solution to the vexed Kashmir imbroglio. He said all political and separatist organisations in the state should lay a helping hand to the newly appointed interlocutor to reach some practicable solution of the Kashmir problem so that people could live a peaceful and progressive life .
