Ramban: Amid the ongoing Amarnath Yatra 2024, Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary along with Senior Superintendent of Police Anuj Kumar on Monday inspected various facilities created for the pilgrims at Lamber, Banihal, by the District Administration Ramban and Sevadars (Volunteers).
The DC asked the officers to regularly monitor the availability of essential amenities and maintain close coordination with security agencies to guarantee a safe and hassle-free Yatra experience for the pilgri The inspection and review aimed to provide a comfortable and secure environment to the devotees undertaking the Amarnath Yatra.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected the health, sanitation, and boarding and lodging arrangements made by the District Administration. He emphasized the need for vigilance and instructed concerned officers to monitor all tasks related to their respective departments closely.
Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner advised the Langer organizations to ensure the quality of food being served to the Yatris. He stressed the importance of adhering to all instructions issued by the government and administration, and maintaining sanitation and hygiene in and around their Langer sites.
