Srinagar: J & K Pensioners Welfare Federation paid glowing tribute to veteran trade union leader Late Sampat Prakash on his first death anniversary at a function held on Monday at Srinagar. The event was chaired by President J & K Pensioners Welfare Federation , Gh Hassan Talib .
Speakers while paying glowing tribute to late Sampat Prakaash highlighted his unparalleled saccrifices in promoting trade union movenment in Jammu and kashmir for the welfare of the employees and pensioners. They vowed to carry forward mission and legacy of late trade union leader about selfless services to the people. They described Sampat a secular trade union leader who till his last breath vouched for strengthening the value of kashmiryat and trade union movement. On this occasion a resolution comprising charter of pending demands of pensioners was also adopted unanimously. The government was urged to fulfill the demands of the pensioners mentioned in the charter without any delay.
