Bandipora | November 07: Police on Saturday said apprehended two persons at Garoora Crossing, Bandipora, and recovered approximately 1.5 kg of a Charas-like substance from their possession.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, Police said that the individuals were identified as Rafaqat Ali Gojar, S/O Mohd. Gulab Gojar, R/O Halwadi, Aragam, and Zakir Hussain Qureshi, S/O Ghulam Noorani Qureshi, R/O Chapran, Aragam. A Case FIR No. 72/2026 under Sections 8/20-29 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Aragam, and an investigation has been initiated to trace further linkages.
