Srinagar: Police have solved a burglary case by arresting an accused person involved in the commission of crime in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Police on Sunday said police post-Delina received a complaint on June 19, 2024, from Bashir Ahmad Pandith, a resident of Sanath Nagar Srinagar stating therein that some unidentified persons barged into his showroom located in Chennad Baramulla and took away his Personal Computer, Sofa, Table and other items during the intervening night of June 19 and 20 .
A case under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Baramulla and an investigation was initiated.
During the investigation and technical analysis, the accused was identified as Mudasir Ahmad Mir, a resident of Khushalpora Chennad who was subsequently arrested.
During questioning, he admitted his involvement in the commission of crime, and on his disclosure, stolen property has been recovered from his possession.
Further investigation of the case is going on, police said.
