CEO Kupwara organises Capacity Building orientation cum training progof teachers from Langate, Mawar

Kupwara: CEO Kupwara on Saturday organized Capacity Building orientation cum training program of teachers under Inclusive Education Wing of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA J & K . The program was inaugurated by Principal GHSS Langate Mtr Kusooma ji at Langate & Principal BHSS Qalamabad Mr Kifayat Ah at BHSS Qalamabad for Mawar Zone in presence of ZEO Mawar Mr A. A. Lone , IE team, Teacher participants. The program aimed for early identification of CWSN (Children with Special Needs& OOSC) at school level & respective catchment areas . The objective of the orientation program is identification, enrolling, retention,providing them with academic support and various benefits, aids & appliances , different allowances to achieve the aim of Inclusive Education under the banner of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA J&K.
Hereafter, a survey shall be carried out at school level to identify CWSN enrolled & OOSC so that their medical assessment can be conducted for providing them free Aids & Appliances as a support to fulfill their dreams and independent livelihood. Morethan, 245 teachers were covered in both the programs and were given training & know how regarding the Disabilities & issues related to CWSN.
District Coordinator Inclusive Education Javid Wani thanked both the Principals & ZEOs from both the Zones ,his IE team ,teacher participants ,ZNOS IE Mr Altaf, Mr Mohsin ,Mr Javid Iqbal for their full support, cooperation and full time presence showing their concern for upliftment and betterment of this special section and part and parcel of our society.
The Capacity Building cum Orientation program shall continue in all the Zones to send an awareness message among community to achieve the objectives aimed under Inclusive Education Wing of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA.
