Rajouri: The Counting Observers, Rajdeep Sanjay John and Sanjeev Kumar Besra, visited Government PG College Rajouri on Monday to oversee the preparations for the counting process scheduled for today (Tuesday).
The Observers were accompanied District Election Officer Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat, DIG Rajouri Poonch Range, Tijender Singh; SSP, Amrit Pal Singh; AROs of all seven Assembly Constituencies of Rajouri & Poonch districts and other officers aijul,ssociated with elections process also remained present during the visit of the Observers.
The Counting Observers inspected the counting halls and strong rooms that have been set up at Government PG College Rajouri.
It is pertinent to mention here that a total of 7 counting halls and 7 strong rooms have been established at the PG College Rajouri to facilitate the smooth and efficient counting of votes on Tuesday.
During the visit, the Observers thoroughly examined the facilities and infrastructure in place to ensure that all necessary arrangements have been made for the counting process.
Various aspects were discussed to ensure a seamless and transparent counting process. The Observers expressed their satisfaction with the arrangements made for the counting and directed the officers and officials that the counting is done in a fair and peaceful manner.
The counting in the Anantnag Rajouri constituency is scheduled to take place today on Tuesday and all necessary steps have been taken to maintain the sanctity of the electoral process and uphold the democratic ethos of the Nation.
