Kishtwar: District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) for Prime Minister Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) Thursday cleared 69 loan proposals here at a meeting chaired by District Development Commissioner Angrez Singh Rana.
After threadbare discussions, the loan proposals submitted by DIC, KVIC and KVIB amounting to Rs 413.00 lakh and involving margin money/subsidy amounting to the tune of Rs. 143.00 lacs were approved.
The units are expected to generate employment opportunities for 413 souls. These units will also provide bridge towards the economic uplift of District Kishtwar in employment generation and establishment of Micro, Small and Medium (MSME) enterprises.
The meeting was attended Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Kishori Lal Sharma, General Manager, DIC Usha Rani, Director SBI-RSETI M.Y Khan, Principal ITI Imran Wajahat, Project Manager DIC Arun Kumar Badyal, Functional Manager DIC Ajaz Malik, I/C District Officer KVIB Mohd Iqbal, representative of KVIC Singhvi and other members.
The DDC Kishtwar stressed upon the bankers for speedy disposal of these cases by the banks.
He asked all the concerned agencies to ensure that the benefited youth may not face any problem in the establishment of their income generating units.
