Srinagar : Police on Friday said that during night intervening Thursday and Friday some miscreants attempted to disrespect the local shrine and a mosque in Dadsara in Tral by damaging windowpanes and also tried displacing the Quran pak in a manner lacking respect. Police also said that a case has been registered under relevant sections of law.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said it suspects that the heinous act has been done by miscreants to foment trouble and disturb peace and order. Police in its statement further said that it is on hunt and will nab these evildoers and also people behind them, pledging therein that all accused will be dealt with the heavy hand under the law. Police in its statement also warned that all others who have instigated or facilitated such criminal acts with the motive of disturbing peace by misusing the highly revered symbols of almighty too will lose all government benefits, government employment, licences and permits, Police
