The event, held under the supervision of Principal, Dr. Anupama Gupta, witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers and students.
During the campaign, NSS volunteers spoke about the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program, sharing their insights and commitment to spreading the message of democracy to every section of society besides engaging with communities for its dissemination at a grassroots level.
Principal Dr. Anupama Gupta, in her address, emphasized the importance of active participation in the democratic election process of Indian democracy. She encouraged all eligible individuals, especially those aged eighteen and above, to step forward and apply for their online epic cards, stressing the fundamental role each citizen plays in shaping the nation’s future through democratic practices.
“This awareness campaign reflects our college’s dedication to nurturing responsible citizens who understand the significance of their voting rights in shaping our nation’s destiny,” said Dr. Anupama Gupta.
The event, supervised by NSS Programme Officer Dr. Arun Dev Singh, and Convener of the Electoral Literacy Club Dr. Balbinder Singh, was held in line with the commitment of the college towards fostering a culture of electoral literacy and civic engagement among students and the wider community.
