Rajouri: SSP traffic Rural Jammu, Vinay Kumar Khularon Wednesday convened a darbar cum crime review meeting of traffic officers and officials at DPL conference hall Rajouri.
All the challaning officers of Rajouri and Poonch attended the meeting. At the outset, the SSP hailed the officials for their good work in the past.
While going into details of crime, he emphasized on ensuring hundred percent e-challaning and laying special focus on checking overloading, over-speeding, overcharging ,drunken driving and visible violation of traffic rules including triple riding ,driving without helmet and without seat belt.
He insisted that safety of passengers is must, for that purpose strict action on part of challaning officers is required.
Apart from enforcement of rules, he asked for continuous efforts on spreading awareness among youth, students and their parents against underage driving and carrying stunts on roads and putting their lives in danger.
Furthermore, he briefed that smooth regulations of traffic in towns is must to give quality service to people.
After threadbare discussion on traffic issues with challaning officers, he opened up darbar and listened to the grievances of jawans patiently.
The issues were noted and some were resolved on spot. He said apart from duties, welfare of every jawan is priority and the welfare issues will be taken for boasting moral of jawans. “But discipline shall be maintained at every cost with the right code of conduct during display of lawful duties. Strict action shall be taken against those who behave unhealthy in public” he added.
Lastly instructions were given regarding smooth conduct of upcoming events and festivals including Mahashivratri and Ramzan.
Among officers DYSP traffic Rajouri-Poonch Nawaz Ahmed, Inspector Ajaz Ahmed Pervaiz DTI Rajouri, Inspector ArunKotwal DTI Sunderbani all SO Traffic and more than 40 traffic officials participated in Darbar.
