Srinagar : Police on Tuesday said that it has solved a burglary case in Baramulla by arresting an accused involved in the commission of crime and also recovered stolen property from his possession.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that on 28th January Police Station Kreeri received a written complaint from one Ghulam Hassan Khan S/o Gh Mohd Khan R/o Singhpora Pattan who alleged therein that his motorcycle Pulsar bearing registration number JK05G-5184 was stolen by some unknown burglars during intervening night of 27 & 28 January, adding therein that on receiving the said complaint a case under FIR No. 5/2024 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Kreeri and thereafter investigation was also initiated.
Police in its statement further said that during the course of investigation, some suspects were called for questioning and with the help of technical & human resources, the investigating team zeroed in on Usman Naseer Shah S/o Naseer Ahmad Shah R/o Peer Mohalla Kreeri and during questioning, Police came to know about his involvement in the commission of crime, adding therein that the said accused was arrested and shifted to Police station where he remains in custody besides which the stolen motorcycle Pulsar was also recovered from the house of the arrested accused person.
In the concluding para of it’s above quoted statement Police said that people of the area have lauded its efforts for cracking/solving the case. Police in it’s statement also resolved to act tough against individuals involved in any kind of criminal activities.
