Jammu: Tehsildar Pargwal, Manjeet Singh Tuesday chaired a meeting of sectoral officers to review and finalize arrangements for the celebration of 75th Republic Day with patriotic fervor.
Specific responsibilities were assigned to different departments regarding different activities.
Ic Police Post Pargwal was directed to ensure security arrangements in and around the venue.
The sitting arrangements were to be done jointly BDO Pargwal, Army and BSF; responsibility of barricading was assigned to PHE and R&B Department. Besides, cultural items were finalised by a committee headed by Principal Government Higher Secondary School Pargwal.
Sectoral heads were instructed to ensure the participation of all the officials of their respective departments on Republic Day.
Officers of different departments, officers from Army and BSF were present in the meeting.
