Pulwama : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) continues to weave its success story in District Pulwama, enchanting and empowering the local community.
Living up to its mission of saturating Government schemes and fostering awareness, a mega program unfolded at Noorpora Awantipora, which was attended by Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr.Basharat Qayoom; SSP Awantipora, ADC Awantipora, DDC members, District and Sectoral officers.
The event featured stalls from various departments showcasing their achievements and Government schemes, presenting a comprehensive overview during the DC’s thorough inspection. The vibrant atmosphere included sports activities, with students participating in a spirited tug of war, embodying the essence of sportsmanship.
The highlight of the day was the playback of a recorded message from Prime Minister, echoing the vision of VBSY. The DC then administered the Sankalp pledge, embraced wholeheartedly by the public in attendance.
A patriotic cultural song and local performances by students added a touch of cultural richness to the event. The DC felicitated participating students, emphasizing their role in embodying the spirit of VBSY.
Beneficiaries from various departments shared their success stories under ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,’ illustrating how Government intervention positively transformed their lives. Distribution of kits among Ujjawala and agriculture beneficiaries, along with the presentation of cheques, highlighted the tangible impact on individuals.
DDC member Dadasara acknowledged the role of the VBSY in raising awareness about government schemes, expressing confidence that this initiative will propel the nation towards development.
The DC appreciated public participation, emphasizing the Yatra’s success linked to local community involvement. He reiterated the program as a collective endeavor, driven by the people’s spirit, emphasizing its goal of saturating Government schemes and creating awareness through public participation.
Responding to public demands, the DC assured that every concern would be duly addressed, emphasizing the commitment to realizing the goals of VBSY. He reiterated that the program’s success hinges on its ability to positively impact the lives of the people it serves.
The event witnessed a large participation of the public, underlining the community-driven success of VBSY.
